About the Event
As we know, in February, the state of Texas suffered a major power outage crisis. The state was unprepared for it and it showed us the importance of preparing for risks and disasters.
Join our town hall to learn tips on what residents, businesses and community organizations can do to prepare for risks like severe weather and power failures.
Our goal will be to see what lessons were learned and what we can do to prepare for disasters like that February freeze in the future.
- Disaster preparedness, With high insurance deductibles and other risk factors of owning or operating a business or home, it has become an important factor for many companies, regardless of size, to be prepared with disaster response.
- Response and recovery resulting from freeze, fire, water, wind, hail, storm damage, and other event driven disasters for residential, commercial, industrial, institutional and historical properties.
- Disaster Management for commercial building owners and organizations in the proper and necessary procedures to undertake when a disaster strikes.
- Protect your reputation, your revenue and limit your liability. In today’s economy, commercial real estate facilities and assets are vital; therefore, being secured with not only a disaster plan, but having a disaster recovery plan in place has never been more important, that everyone, whether a large or small entity, should take this into consideration.
